SSC CPO Cut Off 2025 Out: Category Wise Cutoff, My Experience & Physical Preparation Guide
The SSC CPO 2025 Tier-1 result and cutoff have finally been released by the Staff Selection Commission. After months of waiting, candidates can now check whether they qualified for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs.
For many aspirants this exam is very important because it gives an opportunity to wear the uniform and serve in central armed forces.
I also appeared for the SSC CPO 2025 exam and I cleared the cutoff from the EWS category, so in this article I will share:

Answers to the most common questions aspirants ask
If you are preparing for SSC CPO or planning to appear next year, this detailed guide will help you understand the exam completely.
SSC CPO 2025 Tier-1 Cut Off (Official)
The cutoff marks are the minimum marks required to qualify for the next stage (PET/PST).
SSC CPO 2025 Cutoff – Male Candidates
Category Cutoff Marks
UR 119.47
OBC 115.02
EWS 114.60
SC 88.95
ST 89.06
Ex-Servicemen 40
Around 44,000+ male candidates qualified for the physical stage after Paper-1.
The cutoff for female candidates is generally higher than male candidates because the number of vacancies for females is lower. In SSC CPO 2025 as well, the female cutoff went higher in most categories.
SSC CPO 2025 Cut Off – Female
Category Cutoff Marks
UR 128
OBC 124
EWS 126
SC 100.91972
ST 95. 1964
Ex-Servicemen 40
These marks represent the minimum score required in Paper-1 to qualify for the PET/PST physical stage of SSC CPO recruitment.
Quick Observation
If we compare male and female cutoffs:
Male UR cutoff → around 119 marks
Female UR cutoff → around 135 marks
This clearly shows that female cutoff is around 15-16 marks higher, mainly because the number of female vacancies is limited.
My Experience
I appeared in SSC CPO 2025 from EWS category and I was able to clear the Tier-1 cutoff, which means I am now eligible for the physical test stage.
Like many SSC aspirants, I was also constantly checking updates and waiting for the result because SSC sometimes takes a long time to declare results. But finally the cutoff is out and now the focus shifts to physical preparation and Paper-2.

My suggestion:
1 Start Running Early
Practice daily.
Target:
1.6 km in 6 minutes
Start with
800m jogging
then increase distance
2 Sprint Practice
For 100m race practice:
5-6 sprints daily
Focus on explosive start
3 Leg Strength Training
Important for long jump and high jump.
Exercises:
Squats
Lunges
Box jumps
4 Practice on Ground
Do not train only in gym.
