Today’s 30th march, 2026 as per the ssc calendar, SSC CGL 2026 Notification can drop anytime soon. They have stated earlier in the calendar that the ssc cgl 2026 exam will take place in end of may or mid june so there is a time of exact 60 days for us to boost our studies and score maximum marks.
I hope you have completed your syllabus because this is the time for practice. Even if you have completed your syllabus 70-80% you should practice hard. If you follow my SSC CGL LAST 60 DAYS STRATEGY you will score high in tier 1.
𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐂𝐆𝐋 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐬 :
•Quantitative aptitude
•general intelligence and reasoning
•English language
•General awareness
Each section carries 50 marks for 25 questions making the total of 200 marks for 100 questions.
The goal in the last 60 days is not to learn new concepts but to revise concepts, practice questions, improve speed and accuracy.
Ideal study plan of 10 hours
i’m not going to give you study routine because it will differ for each candidate. I’m only giving you what to do.
• Maths – 4 hours
~ Firstly, download mathworkout app on playstore and practice calculation for half an hour.
~ make a formula sheet of every topic and revise it daily.
~ solve 50 mixed questions on daily basis. This will make you revise every concept from every topic. The question you cannot solve mark them and understand them properly. Revise marked questions every weekend.
~Give a sectional mock for every two or three days.
You will take 5 Or 6 hours for first few days to do this all but try to do this in 4 hours.
• English – 3 hours
~ 1 hour
~ read the vocab from any book.
~ Give tests on testbook in vocab test.
~Mark the difficult questions and revise them every weekend.
~ 1 hour
~ solve 50 questions of any topic you like.
~Para jumbles, error detection, RC, direct indirect, close test etc.
~ Always mark the difficult, wrong questions and understand their concept and revise them every weekend.
~RevIse the 120 rules by nimisha bansal on daily basis.
~ 1 hour
~ one sectional mock test on daily basis is must.
~Atleast 5 vocab test on daily basis.
~ analyse the difficult, wrong questions and revise them regularly.
• GK – 3 hour
~ 2 hour
~Read luscent or fatman any book you like for theory.
~ Parmar sir is going to start the pyq series you can do that too.
~Revise every subject for multiple times for better understanding.
~ There is a mind map section in parmar academy app. You can revise any subject in 1 or 2 hour with help of that.
~ 1 hour
~solve pyqs on your own for better understanding.
~ there are multiple telegram groups who are offering free pdfs so you can do that too.
~ memorise statik gk. Dances, dams, wildlife sactuaries, temples, festivals etc.
•ReaSoning
~ I think for reasoning you don’t have to give any extra time.
~Just give mock for every two or three days
~ revise clock, calendar, counting figures whenever you have time.
Mock test strategy
In the last 60 days mock tests become more important than studying new topics
Plan
first 20 days- 1 mock test every three days
next 20 days- 1 mock test every two days.
last 20 days- 1 mock test daily.

Final advice for hard working candidates
These last two months are most important to crack the exam. Now you have to be actionable abot the syllabus you learned. You have to give mocks and revise the concepts regularly. If you do this your chances of clearing ssc cgl tier 1 increase significantly.
Consistency and discipline in these 60 days can decide your final result.
